Hi Michelle,
I have done a “Pokémon Go” scavenger hunt with my third graders before to help them learn the sections of the library. I printed off big-ish Pokémon (I think 10-12 of them) and placed them in areas I wanted the kids to know. Then I gave groups of 2-3 kids a worksheet and an iPad. The worksheet listed the Pokémon by name, but also the section of the library (ex. Squirtle - Nonfiction Section). The group had to find the different Pokémon/sections and take a selfie with all of the group members and the Pokémon. Afterward, we’d review - “Okay which section was Squirtle in? Who can show us where that was?” Etc. Hope this helps!

However, this might be too hard for some of my students. Can anyone suggest a modification? Or, if you have done something similar if you could share it with me that would be great!
