I want to share some a couple of eAudio/eBook options from the Connecticut State Library with you.



  1.  For schools that use Follett Destiny, we set up the eGO CT Community Sharing program that delivers eAudio/eBook titles directly into the Destiny catalog for free. You can find more information and the sign up link  here: https://libguides.ctstatelibrary.org/egoctcommunityshare

  2.  We also have a virtual library card option available for your students to access eAudio/ebooks via the Palace Project app. They can create a virtual library card using the Connecticut State Library as their home library and access over 31,000 items for free!

Agree Annie!  I have been working to get all my high school students their library cards and getting them to download hoopla.  Win-Win for me and the local library!

Sorry - just seeing this - there are different lending models on Overdrive/Sora - they offer "book club" models where an entire class or classes can be reading the same book at the same time.  Not every book is offered with this model, though.  Other models offered - OC/OU, or metered access.

What is the easiest, least number of clicks, way to get audio books to students?


This is for a group of very reluctant readers who will stop at any speed bump presented.


I'm thinking Libby, but even that might be asking too much.
