Good Morning CT Libraries, here's what's going on this week.

CLC HAPPENINGS

Opportunity for libraries with Tonies collections:

The Tonies company would like to partner with a library in Connecticut to pilot programming opportunities with Creative Tonies.  Some of their ideas are:


  *   Conducting an "audio pal" program (pen pal) where kids record and send messages to kids at another CT library or even across the world (like a sister city collab or something)
  *   Hero's journey workshop where kids learn about basic framework of a story and then create record their own stories
  *   Recording and sending messages to kids in the hospital (could be part of a hospital donation).

If your library has a collection of Tonies and would like to work with the company directly on a project, let me know and I'll connect you.
