[CASL-L] Local author visits

Mat Heagerty recently visited our middle school. He was fantastic! Our
students were all very engaged. He writes graphic novels for middle school.
He charged $1800- did not charge for travel or lodging.

Can anyone recommend any other inexpensive graphic novel authors for middle
school who are local? Thank you.
