Hi Lauren,
We have used quite a few incentives. We have created scratch-off coupons
(purchase scratch-off stickers and make your own) for good library
behavior. When kids scratch them, the coupons reveal either, "Have a nice
day" or "Prize." We give scented pencils as prizes. We also have a prize
box, posters (left over from the Book Fair), and free books (purchased from
Scholastic FACE) that we use as incentives for other initiatives. Finally,
I purchased a spinner on which we can write, and we've used that at times
for prize selection as well.
