[CASL-L] Best Search Engines for 3-5?

I have been encouraging my students to begin in our paid for databases
pebble go/pebble go next and Britannica
Within Britannica it offers links to additional vetted websites.
This year I’m encouraging teachers to have students begin there to get
started on their topics before heading into kiddle or the other Google
based search engines.
I’m finding that with some classroom teachers for research projects
curation is becoming a lost tool. I’m starting to think that even though of
course we want student voice and choice starting with a curated list of
topics and suggested articles and websites is something teachers might need
to be encouraged to do. Rather than sending them straight to Google. Love
the suggestion of using notebook lm for that Allison!
