We are genrefied in fiction. We have:

   - SciFi/Fantasy/Dystopia
   - Mystery/Horror
   - Romance
   - Action/Adventure
   - Short Stories
   - Historical Fiction
   - Realistic Fiction

What you are describing as "general fiction" we would probably just put
into "Realistic Fiction."

There's definitely mistakes. Sometimes I pick up a book out of Realistic
Fiction and find out it has witches and magic in it. It's not a perfect
system. We do what we can and fix mistakes as we find them.
