We do a good bit of employee visits for personal illness. It is a good
model for us as we have demonstrated it keeps employees out of the ED, and
helps us determine if an employee can continue working or really should be
out of the work environment. We do not charge or bill for the services at
this time but we are able to count the visits toward our productivity and
volume (which is great)!. I would be happy to speak with you offline.

I was wondering if any of the hospitals systems get paid for the Employee
Health Services it provides to its employees or contact staff,
particularly if an employee presents with non-work- related illness?
Are you set for billing codes or do you provide services pro bono, or
charge small stipend fees?
Does your organization have policies speaking to the process?
Thank you!
