[MCOH-EH] Medical Surveillance for TICE BCG

Dear list,

Have any of you implemented a surveillance program for staff working with TICE BCG?


A.      From Merck: Vaccine Agent Summary Sheet (VASS) for BCG Live, TICE(r) BCG

1.       Medical Surveillance: employees working in BCG areas require:

*         Pre-employment evaluation consists of a quantitative interferon test and chest x-ray.

*         A quantitative interferon test annually.

*         Employees must also complete the TB questionnaire which asks about immune suppression.
