We had a recent exposure to a HCP of urine from a child receiving chemotherapy (Vincristine). The employee sat on a urine soaked bed (sorry for the details), and sustained cutaneous exposure to the urine. The last dose of chemo was given less than 48 hours ago. The SDS was consulted and recommendations followed.
Does anyone perform F/U blood work and/or urine testing to monitor exposure? I would appreciate any other recommendations you have.
Thanks
Trish
