[MCOH-EH] Pneumococcal and Herpes Zoster Vaccines

We provide the state required vaccines for healthcare providers, and influenza vaccine is mandatory (unless exempted), so we provide MMR, Varicella, Tdap X1, then Td, Hepatitis B is exposure prone, and influenza. We also provide meningococcal A and B to a select group of MedTechs in the lab. Our health insurance covers other routine vaccines like pneumococcal or Herpes Zoster. For travel vaccine requests, we would refer to clinics that specialize in those vaccines, and they may need to pay for all or some of those.

We only do occupational vaccinations. We have recently started with Men A and B, but do not do "routine" adult health vaccinations.

We do not offer zoster, pneumococcal, HPV, Hep A, meningococcal or other vaccines/travel vaccines, just the HEP B, Tdap, Td, MMR, Varicella and influenza. We don't have a group to which the meningococcal applies occupationally or we would do that one or at least I would advocate for it. Most of others are available to the employees through their regular health insurance, though some of the travel vaccines they may have to pay for.

We are moving toward offering "non-occupational" ACIP-recommended adult vaccines, although workflow and cost/reimbursement issues remain . So far, modest demand has been primarily for zoster and pneumococcal vaccines. I'd love to hear if and how others are addressing this need. Amy

Hi Everyone,
How many of you administer these or other vaccines in addition to the usual occupational medicine department vaccines (MMR, Tdap, Flu, Hepatitis B)? Are there any other vaccines you offer?
