[MCOH-EH] Question on travel restrictions

This is our new app:  Very simple.  We  have a TGH-COVID-19 app and once opened, the HCW selects “screening”.  Put in their badge number and answer the questions via dropdown.    They can do this prior to work or on the shuttle bus an then a green light will let them through to the fast line where only temps are taken.  A red light will require further questions in another line.

WARNING: This email came from an external source outside of Tampa General Hospital.
We have been placing employees on quarantine for 14 days after domestic or international travel. There were some exceptions on a case by case basis. We are considering a change and not quarantine for domestic as long as they followed social distancing. International travel must quarantine.

We do screen upon entry with temp. Would love to get more info on the app for symptoms.

Our healthcare organization currently requires  a 14 day quarantine for any international travel and any domestic travel to New York, Louisiana, New Jersey, and other areas that are currently “hot zones” such as Miami area in Florida. With summer coming and employees wanting to plan vacations, we were wondering what others were doing at other healthcare organizations in reference to travel restrictions.

Also…how many of you are screening employees before they enter your facility?   We are doing a symptom screen, have you traveled in the past 14 days and a temp check.  We are moving to a mobile app that the team member can sign into before work, answer the questions and then just shows the screener the “green light” and then only needs a temp check.
