[MCOH-EH] [EXTERNAL] Re: EMRs for large medical center occupational health

Our break the glass feature isn’t working, so that was the other issue we’ve come across. I had suggested having a separate Occ Health account for employees, and have it be a secure account with the break the glass feature, and it be audited for those who went into it, but no dice.

What has been your experience with Agility? My worry is that such a large amount of our clinic will have to learn a separate EHR, and that will make it so that no one wants to get it.

We use EPIC – got it in 2017, They tried to tell someone it would work for break the glass for employee health, but at that time we all knew better, so had to go with an outside EH software. We also had issues with it with the Lawson HR software, and have since had to change that as well..

For EH software my favorite two were Meditrax and Agility

Our Experience with EPIC, training and support is very lackluster, so if they tell you they will help and train you with the application please take it with a grain of salt. I know some have found a way to use it, but remember the HIPAA piece for people to not be able to see in Employees charts…

I would be interested to hear how those who use EPIC, are finding it for Occ Health. I understand they have been developing this application so looking for feedback.
