[MCOH-EH] RVU/Incentive Based Models for Employee Health/Occupational Medicine

Good afternoon,

It’s the best of my knowledge there are not occupational environmental
medicine, specific relative value units or RVs. Most of the compensation
based on production in RVs for occupational environmental medicine are
based off of urgent care and or family medicine or internal medicine.
However, this significantly undervalued the work as you’re dealing with far
more complexity and regulatory compliance issues than you would in a
typical outpatient non-occupational medical care practice. Therefore, I
usually advise against using our views as a reimbursement basis as it will
not adequately or sufficiently represent the work being performed in your
facility.

 Sincerely,
