We have had a number of very successful author visits over the past few
years. All cost in the $1100-1500 range plus hotel cost.
Steve Swinburne - Vermont Primarily non fiction (all ages) but some
picture books. Science based and he plays the ukulele
Lita Judge - New Hampshire Fiction and nonfiction (all ages); excellent,
engaging presentations on lots of different topics.
Marty Kelley - New Hampshire Great presenter, very engaging, very funny
kept all the kids (K-4) engaged
Melissa Stewart - Massachusetts Excellent science books. Low key but LOTS
of information and involvement (readers theater)
Elise Broach - Connecticut Primarily chapter books with a few picture
books Very interesting
I consider Steve, Lita, and Marty personal friends so please let them know
I recommended them for a school visit.
Hope that helps!
