[CASL-L] Bilingual books

Hi Kim,

Have you checked your public library for books in Spanish? I have arranged for public library cards from the two public libraries nearby. The teen librarians come here once a week for book clubs. I am able to borrow books for students using those cards. We don’t do interlibrary loan, just borrow from those two libraries.

The State Library’s RBDigital collection has a very few eBooks in Spanish; 6 titles by Rick Riordan, the remaining titles probably not of interest to your students. You can find these in Advanced Search if you filter by language.  Feel free to contact me directly if you want assistance.

Good morning-
We have four students in my school who only speak Spanish. They are in grades 6, 7, 8 and are reading on or close to grade level. I am looking for some books that have both English and Spanish in them.

Does anyone know where I can get some or borrow some? I looked on RB Digital to find some ebooks but didn't have any luck. It's possible that I'm not searching correctly.

My book budget it just about gone for the year. I'm wondering if there might be someplace able to donate some.
