[CASL-L] Riverdale The Day Before by Micol Ostow books1-3

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone read this series (there is a show for this)?  It
says ages 12+ but was wondering if anyone thinks this is appropriate for
theYA section of a 5th and 6th grade school?  A student requested that we
get it and I could not find anything that indicated that it was not
appropriate.  Thanks for any feedback you can provide.
