[CASL-L] book clubs for remote learners

Hi!

I hosted a few book clubs for adults this past summer. Meeting with
everyone was truly one of the highlights of my summer.

Here is a Wakelet of my resources for From the Desk of Zoe Washington.

I shared the Wakelet in advance, without the Google Slides presentation.
(That I used to guide us when the club met.)
No one really took to answering questions on the Padlet, although I still
love the format. I also invited the members to add resources to the
Wakelet, but no one did. And I always give away a book!

If I was to do it with kids, I would definitely have Google Slides with
questions ready in advance. And I LOVE Catherine's idea of adding "fun
stuff."
