Are you unfamiliar with the Nutmeg Book Award? Check out Melissa Thom and
Grace Lin’s new podcast, The Bookish State
<https://www.thebookishstate.com/episodes>, which focuses on state book
awards. This year is entirely focused on Nutmeg! Listen to Episode 1

for an overview of the Nutmeg Book Award. And, finally, can you think of a
student currently in grades 6-11 who is an avid reader of a wide variety of
books and not afraid to express their opinion? Share Episode 4

with them to hear from a former Nutmeg student reader to gain a little
insight into this experience!

Nutmeg Book Award Steering Committee at nutmegbookaward1993 at gmail.com to be
featured in our next newsletter.
Did you create a Nutmeg resource you would be willing to share? Send it to
