[MCOH-EH] Accommodating work related injury restrictions

Dayton Children's Hospital does maintain a cost center for employees working in modified duty assignments. That said, if an employee can perform 80% or more of their regular job responsibilities, compensation is generally charged to their home department rather than the modified duty cost center. In most cases, employees who can perform at least 80% of their essential functions are able to remain in their home department while working within their restrictions.

Here at Cottage Health, yes, we have an "alternate cost center" that can be charged for modified duty employees. It can be used if the employee is working in their home department or if we pull them to do another assignment on a temporary basis.
